Commercially pure (non-alloyed) aluminium grades characterised by excellent corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, low mechanical strength and outstanding workability. High-machinability alloy used for keys, lock components, plumbing fittings and watch gears.
Used where corrosion resistance is required: general metalwork, base material for silverware and jewellery, engraved plates, cutlery, kitchen utensils, trophies, rivets, screws and tokens.
Deep-drawing applications: cartridge cases, bullets, shells, radiator tanks and tubes, plumbing fittings, electrical terminals, thermostats, buttons and snap fasteners for garments, and components produced by progressive stamping. Nuts, washers and rivets.
